Content Licence

This licence governs published prompt packs on the Prompt Share marketplace — the prompts themselves and the descriptions around them. It is the document referenced as the licensefield in every pack’s structured data.

It does not cover the Prompt Sharesoftware, branding or site design, and it does not cover prompts kept private in someone’s library.

Publishing a pack does not transfer ownership. The creator keeps every right they had in the prompts. They grant readers the permissions below, and grant us only what we need to display and serve the pack. Unpublishing withdraws that grant for new readers.

With a free account, for any pack you can read:

• Use the prompts, with any AI model or tool.
• Adapt and modify them for your own purposes.
• Use them commercially — in client work, in a product, at your job.
• Keep the output. Whatever a model produces from a prompt is yours, subject to that model provider’s own terms.
• Share individual prompts in the normal course of working with colleagues.

No attribution is required, though creators appreciate it.

The line is use versus resale. A prompt you adapt is yours to run. A catalogue you copied is not yours to publish.

• Do not republish packs as your own catalogue — on this marketplace or anywhere else.
• Do not resell packs as a product, a bundle, or a paid dataset.
• Do not bulk-harvest the marketplace. See the Acceptable Use Policy for what automated access is allowed.
• Do not strip or falsify attribution where a creator has asked for it in their pack.

Every download carries an envelope recording the account it was exported by and when. That is not DRM — it makes a leaked corpus attributable, which is most of the deterrent value.

Prompts are published by their creators, not by us. We do not review, verify or endorse them, and nothing here promises a prompt will work, be accurate, be original, or produce any particular result. Check anything before you rely on it.

If something on the marketplace infringes your rights, exposes private information, or should not be public for any other reason, tell us and we will look at it.

For a copyright (DMCA) notice, include:

• The URL of the pack or store.
• Identification of the work you say it infringes.
• Your contact details.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

A moderator can remove a pack from every public surface. That removal is deliberately independent of the owner’s own publish switch — they cannot undo it by re-publishing. Creators who believe a removal was wrong may reply to the notice and we will reconsider.

No pack can be paid, promoted or requested onto the Featured, Trending or Spotlight rails. They are chosen automatically and there is no mechanism to place one by hand. How that works →
