Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Prompt Share(“we”, “us”). They apply whenever you use the service — whether you are browsing the public marketplace without an account, reading prompts with a free one, or running a private prompt library.

If you use Prompt Shareon behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind that organisation to these terms, and “you” means both you and it.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service. That is a real option, not a formality: nothing here is required of you.

Prompt Share does two things:

• A private prompt library. You organise prompts into categories, bundles and packs, import and export them in bulk, and drive them through an API.
• A public marketplace. You may optionally open a store and publish selected packs. Publishing is always opt-in and requires two separate deliberate actions: publishing the store, and publishing each pack.

Everything on the marketplace is free to read. There is no paid tier, no payment processing, and nothing is for sale. Reading the prompts inside a pack requires a free account; browsing the catalogue does not.

You need a verified email address to hold an account. You are responsible for your credentials and for everything done through your account, including by API keys you or your workspace members create. An API key authenticates as your workspace — treat it like a password.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. We do not knowingly provide the service to children.

You can delete your account at any time. Deleting it removes your prompts, unpublishes everything you had published, and cascades to your store.

You may invite other people into your workspace and assign each a role — Admin, Editor or Viewer. Members act on your data: prompts they create belong to your workspace, not to them, and remain yours if their access ends.

As the workspace owner you are responsible for who you invite and for what they do. Removing a member revokes their access immediately, along with any API keys they created in your workspace.

You keep every right you have in the prompts and other material you put into Prompt Share. We claim no ownership of it.

To operate the service we need a narrow permission: to store, back up, transmit and display your content so the product works. When you publish a pack you additionally permit us to display it publicly and to serve it to readers under the Content Licence. That permission ends for new readers when you unpublish.

You are responsible for having the right to publish what you publish, and for not including credentials, personal data, or anyone else’s confidential material. Publishing is blocked automatically when a pack appears to contain an API key or similar secret — that check is a safety net, not a guarantee, and it does not replace reviewing what you are about to make public.

The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms and sets out what you may not do — in short: nothing illegal, nothing that harms others, nothing that attacks the service, and no scraping or bulk redistribution of the marketplace.

The Featured, Trending and Spotlight rails are chosen by an automated system. Placement cannot be bought, requested, or arranged by hand — there is no mechanism by which anyone, including us, can place a pack there manually.

We publish exactly how it works at How packs get featured. We may change the ranking policy; we will keep that page accurate when we do.

We may remove content, suspend a store, or terminate an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why.

A moderation removal is deliberately independent of your own publish switch: a pack removed by a moderator cannot be restored by re-publishing it. To report content, see reporting and DMCA.

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Nothing published here is guaranteed to remain available — export anything you need to keep. The export tools exist for exactly this.

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give reasonable notice and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

The service and everything published on it are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, accuracy, or that any prompt will produce any particular result from any AI model.

Prompts published by other people are their work, not ours. We do not review, verify or endorse them.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Because the service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to one hundred (100) US dollars. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you publish or from your breach of these terms.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for a breach of these terms, or if we stop offering the service.

The sections on your content, no warranty, limitation of liability and indemnity survive termination.
